What is spagyric?

There are about ten different spagyric production methods described. What they all have in common is that a plant salt and a plant alcohol are processed in a certain way and these are united again at the end of the production. The special feature of the Quintessence Spagyric according to Aurora Pharma: In this manufacturing process, a new, colored substance, the so-called alchymic quintessence, is created during the union. It is an indication of the high vibrational energy, the vitality of the substances and their strong effect when used.

What does spagyric mean?

The word spagyric is of Greek origin and refers to a specific method of preparing vegetable, metallic and mineral substances for medicinal use, in reference to the alchemy known as "spagyria". Compounded from the Greek words "spao" (separate, dissolve, separate) and "ageiro" (bind, unite), the word spagyric refers to the two fundamental alchemical techniques used to prepare medicinal substances; that of separating and uniting. First, by separating and separating the original substance into its diverse components, the "valuable is separated from the useless". Through a certain form of recomposition, the separated components are reunited. The spagyric medicine produced in this way contains the healing substances in a refined form and is thus therapeutically more effective than the original material. Spagyric is therefore practiced alchemy and thus part of alchemical laws.

What distinguishes an essence from a tincture?

Essence and tincture have the same origin, but are produced differently.

When making an essence, one tries to extract the essence of a plant. Through water or alcohol one draws the substances from the plant. The liquid then contains the natural substances of the plant.

With a tincture, the production is far more complex. One tries to separate toxic substances from useful substances and not only preserve the essence of the plant, but also make it accessible to humans and animals on a higher level. In the process, the coarse and fine material levels are combined for a more profound effect.

Who invented spagyric?

Paracelsus wanted to clearly delimit the medical scope of alchemy and used the term "spagyric". The manufacturing process of Aurora Pharma is based on the knowledge of Paracelsus: just as he produced his spagyric mother tinctures, Aurora PHarma still produces the spagyric medicines today. It is therefore the most original, spagyric manufacturing process, because it goes back to the eponym of spagyric.

How are spagyric and alchemy related?

Alchemy means transformation at its core. Man can transform himself and his environment in many areas. Through personal development (inner alchemy) or by changing substances, social structures, processing substances (outer alchemy). In laboratory work, alchemists tried to replicate the knowledge gained by observing nature. Paracelsus called the transformation of substances for medicinal purposes spagyric.
