For many people, spring represents the emotional world, the blossoming of love. After the phase of energetic withdrawal in winter, the organism opens up again on many levels. It is the time of love. 

But what does love mean? There are probably as many views on this as there are people. For me, on a spiritual level, it means above all acceptance. To the extent that we love someone or something, to the extent that we accept this form of existence. 

In Greek philosophy, three different forms of love were assumed. Each of these three types of love can also in turn be assigned to an Aurora gemstone. By taking it, one strengthens the ability to feel love on this level and can make the connection and acceptance to others more intense. 

1st level: Eros

The first level stands for Eros, for passion. It corresponds to the polarity between man and woman, for sensuality and attraction. Accordingly, the Aurora Ruby is suitable for problems in the couple relationship, sexual dysfunction and trauma, when someone has difficulty accepting his masculine or feminine side. The stone promotes libido, physical acceptance and polarity. 

2nd level: Philia

The next level of love is philia, which stands for spiritual love. It consists in friendships and connects us with other people. It is interest, sympathy, connection and sociability. The stone that corresponds to this principle is Aurora Citrine. The tincture promotes communication to others, leads to sociability, connects families and friends, and reveals blockages, leading to joy, peace and serenity. You can think of the citrine as the golden retriever that cheers you up and connects family and makes contact with others. 

3rd level: Agape

Finally, agape stands for the spiritual, highest love. It is unconditional love, love of neighbor, motherly love and connectedness. It stands for the soul connection, for selfless devotion and sympathy. The Aurora Rose Quartz stands for this love energy and thus releases blockages from childhood, helps people who have lost their connection to life and it helps with isolation and fears. When it rains, the rose quartz forms the umbrella and even allows to rejoice in the rain and accept life as it is.
